We are very pleased to announce that we have expanded the capabilities of our Family History group. The first and third week will consist of a lesson and the 2nd and 4th week will be a general research class. We now have access to the Ancestry databases consisting of 16+ billion records in their global collection including military, parish and church, passage lists, immigration, photos, maps and much more. So, if you are curious about your own family history, please come in and explore the largest online family history resource available. This is a pay as you go activity.

Free Interactive Workshops

Each month, a new topic will be addressed to provide information on subjects ranging from Health & Wellness, Financial, and DIY projects with the assistance of local businesses, professional organizations and community support. These sessions are free to the community unless otherwise specified.

Computer and Technologies Assistance

One to One Computer, iPad, e-reader assistance is available. Please contact Kimberley Sledz, or 613-354-6668, ext 110 to arrange an appointment. Please indicate what level help that you require, the operating system and program. A fee will be charged based upon the time commitment.

Driver Refresher

Be a better driver with Tim Smith. Has it been 40, 50 or even 60 years since you first learned to drive? Find out what’s different when it comes to the rules of the road, signage and safe driving practices. In addition, learn some tips and tricks to compensate for physical and/or cognitive limitations brought on by aging. This 5 hour session includes lunch and learning materials.
