Hospice Lennox and Addington is a community based volunteer visiting service dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals and their families who are facing the crisis of life-threatening disease or the terminal phase of their illness. Hospice L&A will assist these people to remain in their own home longer or to die at home if they so choose. For individuals unable to remain at home, our volunteers will continue needed support throughout hospitalization.

Established in January of 1993, PhoneBusters is the national deceptive telemarking call centre, operated by the Ontario Provincial Police. PhoneBusters plays a key role in educating the public about specific fraudulent telemarketing pitches. The call centre also plays a vital role in the collection and dissemination of victim evidence, statistics, documentation and tape recordings which are made available to outside law enforcement agencies.
This resource was created in partnership with, but not limited to, the former Regional Elder Abuse Prevention Network, Home and Community Care Support Services South East Healthline, the Kingston Council on Aging, long-term care homes, home health provider agencies, community support services and organizations in support of older adults.
